Enjoy your earworm.
Anyway. The Spiral Galaxy feels like it is light years around the edge and I would really like to knit at the speed of light to get this done. I don’t understand WHY it feels like such a slog – I haven’t been working on it that long, it’s in a yarn and a colorway I really enjoy, and the stitch pattern is easy and not strain-inducing. Mebbe I just needed something to whine about.
Alas, since it’s still bunched up on the needle it looks exactly the same as it did last time, so no pictures. NO WAIT! Perhaps I shall try an artsy macro shot.
Not that great a shot, but colorful (and surprise, the colors are reasonably accurate). Whatever.
Still thinking about those quilts, those socks, those other Holiday-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named things. In the last days, though, the weather has been reminding me that fall approacheth and for me it always feels like new beginnings and restless times. I feel like I should take advantage of finally-cool-again mornings to plant gardens, wire up trellises, arrange the patio into something vaguely attractive… I suspect that if I go have a lie-down these feelings will pass.
